Extinguish with cold beer!
We love to roast whole cherry tomatoes in the oven with olive oil, sea salt, and pepper. But, they do remain alarmingly hot and can easily burn your mouth. If you try to prick them with your fork, they may spray you with boiling juice. That is why we don’t use the whole cherry tomatoes as a pizza topping. Instead, we cut them in half and place them raw on the uncooked pizza. Problem solved. Time for another glass of Chabernet.
